Picasa is Google's offering in the online photo organizing arena. You can upload your photos and make albums and slideshows, add captions to your photos, and even place your photos on a Google map. Your albums can be public or private, and many of the online image editing sites interface with Picasa so you can easily retrieve your images.

Flickr is the largest and best known photo organization and sharing site on the Web. Millions of photos can be found on Flickr and many other Web 2.0 sites interface with Flickr. A valuable section of Flickr is Flickr Commons, http://www.flickr.com/commons. Here you can find images from some leading museums and archives that are under common copyright and free to use. For instance, there are some great photos of the World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago in 1893.

There are tons of things to do with your pictures and video in Vuvox. Under the create tab, you (currently) have 4 choices. With collage, you can make an interactive collage of collection of pictures that slides from left to right, telling a story. You can embed other media within the collage including hyperlinks and video. With express, you can quickly make a slideshow of media gathered from your personal galleries online from Flickr, Picasa or Buzznet. You can also make express slideshows from any RSS feed such as Time Picture of the Week. With studio, you have many more customizable options.

Capzles lets you tell a story with your pictures and other media. Choose a title for your story, upload pictures (singly or as a stack) and videos. Arrange the media in the right order, then add tags, titles and descriptions to each item. Make a statement with your own background picture or use one of the built in themes to showcase your story. You can decide if you want to make your capzle public or private, or allow only invited friend to see. You can also designate who views each single piece of media. Do a search for Revere to see my capzle about Paul Revere's ride.

Big Huge Labs doesn't play well with Jog the Web, so I created a page with examples to show you. The page was created with Wix.com - an online web page creator. Scroll down to see the photo gallery. You can create lots of fun projects with your photos at Big Huge Labs: calendars, name badges, photo cubes, motivational posters and mini photo albums to name a few.
