5More Terezin Poetry
You should be on p. 7 in your journal. On this link you will read more poetry written by children of Terezin. These nine poems were all selected to be the lyrics for a cantata (a musical story sung by a chorus) composed by Robert Convey. He wrote this in memory of all children who perished during the Holocaust. The cantata was first performed in New York city in April of 1991. Choose one of the nine poems from this site. Copy the poem into your journal. Draw a picture to represent the poem. Answer the questions about your poem on p. 8.
