1How does it help humanity?
This page tells how animal testing is used and the benefits it gives to humans. Animal testing is mostly used to better understand how a new medical treatment or medicine reacts with a whole biological system. Since the animals they use are very different from a human's body, they test the same product on different species. They test the first species (usually rats or mice) and if it passes safely, they move to another species that better reflects the human body.

6Conclusion
My essential question was "Why should animal testing be allowed?" My answer after my research is it shouldn't be allowed because it causes pain and suffering in an inhumane way. There are other ways scientists can test products and medicines than testing them on animals, so they should use them instead. This final page is a list of important facts about animal testing I came across, which support my answer.
