MapVivo is an online travel journal. As a mashup with Google maps, you can add points on the map, add text, images and video to each place holder, and even export it as a kml to be opened in Google Earth. Search for Abraham Lincoln to see a journal of the trip that Lincoln's funeral train took in 1865.

Create a Graph is an online graph creator presented by the National Center for Education Statistics. The interface is easy to use - the hardest part is thinking about how to design your graph! You don't have to sign in to use it. You can download your completed graph as a pdf or in various image formats. You can even have them email your graph to you! NCES will retain your graph on their system as long as there is activity on it. They will delete it from their system after 30 days of inactivity.
